MODheim: Southlanders Update

I've now finished all the Southlanders (I'm planning on basing everything at once when all the painting is finished). So I thought I would take some better shots than the ones seen so far :).
The whole warband "finished".

I actually quite enjoyed painting these, I don't normally paint anything in red but I was inspired (game of thrones) to try out a red and gold scheme. Turned out quite nicely I think :). If I ever get good at freehand (or applying transfers) I might finish the shields properly one day lol.
Captain Flasheart & Magi Sidious
I love the way the captain came out, anyone following this blog would know that originally he was just going to be another swordsman or champion, but I ran out of ideas / models for a captain conversion and decided to add the sash and sheath to make this fella more grand.

    1. I'm sure you didn't need any ideas you seem to have too many of your own, still if you want someone to take some ideas off you.... :P lol.

    1. The idea (should it ever get off the ground) was to re-write Mordheim into another universe, basically so I could add in random races that arn't GW related e.g. the bloodcap gnomes, fishmen & terrortoise warbands already in progress plus the other warbands that are still in my head.

That wont stop me employing these in Mordheim / the Wargame weaver Vampire hunters campaign I hope to run next year (dependant on getting all the terrain finished).

Plus they were inspired by Game of thrones so the name is kind of a homage (kings landing being in the south).

      Cheers
